About Fontanini
The legacy of the world renowned House of Fontanini began more than 100 years ago in the small village of Bagni di Lucca, Italy. For four generations, the Fontanini family has carried on a tradition which began as a dream in the heart of a 13-year-old boy named Emanuele Fontanini.
After studying with the best artisans in Europe, in 1908, the 28-year-old Emanuele Fontanini returned to his home in Bagni di Lucca to begin crafting his own figures in a one room shop which is now known as the House of Fontanini.
Since then the House of Fontanini has Created magnificent old-world sculptures treasured by collectors and reveres by worshipers all over the world.
Breathtaking in detail and workmanship, Fontanini Nativities are comprised of lifelike figures and historically researched structures in eight different sizes that together present an extraordinary step back in time to biblical Bethlehem.
